Centralia is is the creepiest place I’ve ever been-like a ghost town. The roads look like an earthquake hit with raised, split concrete that is covered with graffiti. Smoke inches from the earth and you can stand in the street shoulder-deep in the cavernous openings, but the toxic gases will soon give you a headache. Wild, deserted.

Super happy about today... heading to the city with my son who is home until Sunday (then back to Norway.) Hitting up MoMA and any and every vegan restaurant possible. Then tonight we're all going to see Mission Impossible - totally out of character for us but the daring parts of it were filmed in Norway (a spot where I shattered my wrist 6 years ago.) (I hope I don't feel any PTSD in the theater.)

@Linda Lee-Libraries are pretty VITAL. When I was out of work, I RELIED of libraries for their internet connecction, their databases and also, sometimes, their cheap coffee! Also, we should fund our Post Office with taxes, we don't and that was due to a big mistake by Reagan. Post offices are mandated in the Constitution in support of cheap transport of written, 1st amendment protected speech.
