One paid for gas and an occasional date, another paid for alcohol, and the third paid for records. And yes, I actually parsed the money that way. The record money was almost always well spent, because I knew a guy who had a used record shop (think High Fidelity) who would set stuff aside for me because he knew I'd be there with cash every Saturday around noon. Usually an album or 2 or 3, depending on what he wanted for them. It was glorious.
	♥ 10:38pm efd: Perfect setup, Phillippe! I was in college around the same time and on the radio there, which gave me access to (though not always ownership of) lots of great stuff.
