Beats mismatched. New mystic moods. The International Style. Pressed and dressed. Queasy listening. New ways to fail. More is more. Backroom room tones.

Hello Jesse. Good morning. This set I presume will keep me sane at my desk as usual. Aces!

Hello! How's Monday treating you so far?
Avatar 3:24am
Satis-factory records:

Not badly thank you! It's nippy in Manchester now but not horrifyingly so. Saw Bo Ningen on Saturday night which was good fun - mostly went for the support band Witch Fever who are the Babes in Toyland I never had. Did you have a good weekend Jesse?
Avatar 3:29am
Kudubundu:

Hi all. Just joined the show. Looks like I have missed some goodies.
Avatar 3:32am
Jesse Dorris:

Witch Fever! I've heard good things about them! Eh I've had better weekends to be honest, but did see Spiritualized with the wordless music orchestra and a full choir last week--my head and my heart still haven't recovered!
Avatar 3:32am
Jesse Dorris:

Hey Kudubundu! You can always go back and stream it when it's over :)

Good morning, Fred! How are you?

Pixsqueak:

I was about to turn in and get some shut eye. But then you go and play these last six fantastically hypnotic tunes. Sleep is overrated anyway. Thanks, Jesse.
Avatar 3:46am
Diezel Tea:

This is so far IME one of your stand out sets, JD. Howdy @fred & @Kudubundu.
Avatar 3:48am
Jesse Dorris:

Hey Pixsqueak! Aww thanks, sorry for your sleep. I just poured myself a coffee....
Avatar 3:48am
Jesse Dorris:

Thanks, Diezel! That means a lot.
Avatar 3:48am
Satis-factory records:

Aw you must've had all the feelings! Definitely take care of yourself after that! (Is this why you're playing one of the most emotional Burial songs? I swear I tear up every time it gets to the 'there's a kid somewhere' bit) Witch Fever are SO great, I'm seeing them again in a week supporting The Chats, can't wait
Avatar 3:49am
Jesse Dorris:

I'm not crying in the wfmu studios, why would you say that
Avatar 3:49am
Jesse Dorris:

But it's gonna be one of those rollercoaster sets I think!

Pixsqueak:

Mmmm coffee good.
Enjoy it, Jesse.
I’m just gonna zone out with your magic.
Avatar 3:52am

Yes, none of us are crying, how preposterous

First time i've heard this show... listening on 128k MP3 (the usual stream isn't working) but this set has still sounded particularly wonderful. Thanks Jesse!

Hmmm that's weird the stream isn't working, but hello to you! Thanks for listening, and very glad it's doing you good!

JD - another cool underground electronic artist I discovered here (yes, I'm always promoting music from Armenia, shamelessly) that I think is up your alley is fassound.bandcamp.com FAS. Young kid, downtempo, oriental hip hop instrumentals.
