SGI, Soka Gakki, which tried to recruit me years ago, is a practicing form of Nichiren Buddhism with no clerical leader. They follow the Lotus Sutra and chant but really see humanist educator Daisaku Ikeda as the spokesperson of this Buddhism. Ikeda is a bright man but has risen to almost a prophet-like status. The need to be continually devoted, present, participating in activities, and proselytizing, turned me off rather early in the game. I practice no religion.

These brass arrangements sound like ones made by a small liberal arts college in the Midwest for a band competition. They think they're hot shit, and then some HBCS school comes in with better musicianship, improvisation, and tuba players doing cartwheels and totally stomps on them.
