One of my personal favorite Hip Hop memories was simply rushing to the music store whether it was Sam Goody or Tower Records to get the latest release on cassette of a popular artist like Public Enemy or Ice Cube’s “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted” before they sold out.

This is left over from last weeks show, but in '89 Tommy Boy must've donated a couple hundred cassettes of '3 Feet High...' to FMU. They were giving them away for a couple weeks. Wore mine out. Kinda reminded me of 'After Bathing At Baxters'
