Spoilers: The bear is a prince! ...gals were kind to him, so at story's end when he whacks a rude mean dwarf to a fatal noggin hit, he's freed from dwarf's spell, reverts to real self, marries one of the gils, and the other marries prince' brother!

I refuse to pay over $100 for tickets at the Barclay Center. The venues have gotten worse and the money has only gotten higher and higher for less performance. I never thought it would happen, but it has.
	1:05pm KP in DC: He’d walk around here if he would anywhere. The area is one big boardwalk with hotels, bars and three music venues, one of which takes up three floors of this building. The floor (standing) is $60. Reserved seats are kind of far away and pretty expensive.

Ticket prices are astronomical, the audiences are treated like cattle, and corporate sponsorship is in your face everywhere. And that's not to mention those stupid video screens, which mean that, unless you're sitting in the first few rows, you are essentially sitting there and watching the event on TV.

	1:15pm still b/p: Second that. I don't think there's anyone I'm ever going to spend $50 or more to see in concert. I'll see local friends or touring acts of real personal interest for less, but ever since ticket prices went bananas a few decades ago, I never even consider attending name act shows. It's a combination of frugality and a failure to find the price-vs.-value justification.
	♥ 1:18pm Meghan: $60 for the floor is great! That is EXACTLY where I want to be for his concerts. I absolutely HATE seats at a show (unless it's a total mellow show that you should be seated). For Nick Cave you should be standing and swooning!
	1:20pm KP in DC: Part, this place doesn’t have screens and I miss them. Standing is not bad though and sort of reasonable. Live events are expensive. Have been to the theater lately!!? Anyway, it’s right in our building so might as well, might as well.
	♥ 1:22pm Carmichael: My kids are new to the concert experience, and their idols (Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, etc ...) are $150 - $200 for shitty seating. I took one of my kidlets to go see Jon McCutcheon at a small theater for $25 a pop. They were shocked at the price.
