	12:27am Scraps: for several weeks/months I’m filling in my third mp3 player; this one will probably have about 40,000 songs. This time I’m being careful to only do good songs, and that slows it down. But it’s fun.

	12:35am rw: My neighborhood gets pretty crazy with kids on Halloween. I think a couple Disney artists live or lived just up the street and the neighbors all go nuts with decorations. Fog machines, light projections, haunted houses, etc. It's weird when a member of The Residents passes away what with their anonymity and all. RIP Hardy. I do like the fact that he had pronounced it beforehand. Seems somehow fitting.

	12:45am rw: Yeah, my neighborhood is fun too. Have a good time at the show! I don't know any of those bands but it sounds cool anyway! When I was a kid I dressed as a girl scout and saw 45 Grave and Christian Death on Halloween weekend at Al's Bar. Everyone else was dressed as a dead priest or nun with teased up hair. I think I was 19 and had to get in on a fake ID.

It's not like they were super diligent at the door or anything. Plus it had been at least a couple decades. MM, Yes, Roz. My friend Jim's band opened. They were called Toxic Era!

I spent many nights there either doing homework or hearing wonderful music or both. My wife and I made a bee-line there on our wedding night. Drunk Horse played. What a joint.
