Thanks Undead83 and Ken From Hyde Park, I have way too much new music. I'll be sprinkling some in soon although this first section of the show is leaning a little more on golden oldies...

Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:04pm chresti:

I know someone who, while living on the Canary Islands, had a fly land in her mouth.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:06pm chresti:

Hi TDK- pretty smoky around here, really smoky up north, thanks

@Chresti I share your good feelings for Amsterdam; i'm afraid i have no jail time experience over here.. should be fine though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29pm coelacanth∅:

chresti @7.04 that might traumatize me for Life! flies disgust me more than pretty much anything.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29pm Rob W:

Good morning Tokyo!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm Franco Twinkie:

It nice to back in the house listening happy music. It's dreadful outside.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 7:55pm Bas NL:

Sounds a bit like ukulele?
  8:03pm chresti:

Coel- in that case, I better not share my dad’s fly in the mouth story!
  8:05pm chresti:

Bas- you inspired Franco to practice on the ukulele
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:11pm Bas NL:

I just learned the ukulele has Portuguese roots in a roundabout way.. Music travels. Heh, like what we can here now: Banga rap with a pinch of latin?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:21pm maestroso:

Just tuned in... that Saidi & Mazalda was seriously funky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22pm Rob W:

Yes indeed Bas. Here's a little something on the ukelele vs timple angle: www.learntouke.co.uk...
Avatar 8:23pm northguineahills:

I swear I can fin Bill Laswell anywhere!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm coelacanth∅:

chresti i'm not squeamish! -less than most people probably. i just know what a health risk it is to be in contact with flies, and the filth that is natural to them.
if, someday, you share your gross fly story, i'll share a gross stinkbug story! ...maybe wait until we see each-other on a comment board of a metal set or a punk set!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27pm coelacanth∅:

nice this laziko. (i'm a sucker for a fast 7 though)
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:28pm Bas NL:

@Rob That clarifies a lot!

Avatar 8:36pm TDK60:

..once again, Rob rocks out..
  8:36pm el Garee le Bee~:

Hi Rob. I did an interview in 2002 with the amazing Vishwa Mohan Bhatt who described his personal musical evolution and gave me a one on one concert. If you're interested in any of it, you can find me. Right now, there's a Serb Fest going on just blocks away. Beat goes on...
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 8:39pm chresti:

good idea coel!

  8:44pm great:

This station plays wonderful music
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:49pm Rob W:

Very interesting el Garee le Bee - I will follow up with you, thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm coelacanth∅:

haha chresti! i'm not grossed out by stinkbugs, except in certain circumstances; and i've dealt with possibly hundreds of them, and i've never noticed any smell at all. i wonder if it's even true!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Franco Twinkie:

el Garee - Saw Vishwa Mohan Bhatt years ago at the Harrick Chapel. Amazing doesn't do justice to this man. That guitar of his is something to behold!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm coelacanth∅:

early 90s i was playing that "from nubia to cairo" album in the "health food" store i used to run when a generally needy and notoriously grumpy, businesslike customer came in. he smiled so big and became very animated! he asked me about it i told him it was a cassette i had and he asked if i'd make him a copy. he said this was music from his home and he hadn't heard it in many years. that changed out whole relationship.
  8:59pm el Garee le Bee~:

Franco Twinkie- He devised his own version of the classical chittraveenna and named it of course, the "Mohan" Veena, after himself. I gotta go to Serbfest now.
Avatar 🌍 Swag For Life Member 9:00pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Rob. See you next time.
