Dracula and his police siren.

Just goes to compound the notion of looking behind the counter at corner shops to see if there is any dusty vinyl like this one.
Avatar 3:08pm

Yea, I caught Dracula, the siren, and wind.

That Human Expression song reminded me of this all-girl group from the 60s called The Daisy Chain.
Avatar 5:01pm
Otis Fodder:

Love The Daisy Chain and a nice Sundazed reissue of that album a few years back. I want to pick up The Human Expression album that Matt played, www.discogs.com...
Avatar 5:04pm

It's a shame Daisy Chain only made one LP and one single.
Avatar 5:09pm

Saw Cosby live in 2011. I can't believe I was in the same room as him, after what we found out. Did you ever hear about how he would make people watch him eat curry backstage before TV appearances?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm
Rich in Washington:

I still have the cosby drug record, my lp of Del Monte canned food ads, Disco Bill, and Silver Throats but tossed all his comedy records.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm
Rich in Washington:

I'm missing the Hooray for the Salvation Army Band in the great purge of ought-five.
Avatar 5:12pm
Otis Fodder:

Purged all Cosby, but did keep Smackwater Jack by Quincy, even though Bill is on a cut. But yea, my shelves were getting sort of swarmy so sorry cosby. Nice point, Sgt Peppers and Drugs were passed to a friend who said, I'll take em'!
Avatar 5:12pm
grantbob:

Couch Flambeau!
Avatar 5:13pm
Otis Fodder:

I purge a lot. Have a rule with shelf space, no future shelves. So when it gets full, stuff has to go. I think I'll talk about record collecting and purging next week and have a cry/joy session.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:14pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Yep - I kept Smack Water (but skip) and dumped the Bad Drugs LP.
Avatar 5:15pm
Otis Fodder:

That Quincy LP is sooooo good!
Avatar 5:17pm

Pineapple on pizza doesn't really sound as gross as some make it out to be. I'd probably try it, but I don't think it'd be my cup of tea.

Pineapple Pizza Party!
Avatar 5:19pm

Otis, may I plug my album here?
Avatar 5:20pm
Don-O:

I have had one too many pineapple pizza in public to comment right now. So, I vote yea!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm
DJ GeorgyGirl:

Pineapple - yes. Potato and/or ketchup - hell to the no.
Avatar 5:21pm
Otis Fodder:

Viv, go for it!
  5:22pm
Martinibomb:

In Italy once I got a slice of pizza I thought it had Gorgonzola on it but it turned out to be chunks of potatoes super gross. My guess it was for British tourists? Chips and pizza??
Avatar 5:23pm
Don-O:

Ketchup on fries and hash browns, yup....but not on backed potato. We're ALL programmed.....
Avatar 5:24pm
Archivist Vivian:

Okay! So, I've been working on this record. It's recorded on cassette and is some mood-swingy lo-fi music that borders on psych folk at times. Strong influences from outsider artist and private press records, it deals with subjects of friendship, trauma, happy moods, and frustrations.
It is called "Doll" and is dedicated to my friend. deirdre-airlines.bandcamp.com...
  5:24pm
Martinibomb:

If you want to talk gross things.. in elementary school they would slice a baked potato and throw in a reddish/green hot dog from some WWII rations they had laying around. They called it a, "Frankenspud."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm
Rich in Washington:

I'm thinking of going out for Indian pizza as soon as we're all done here.
Avatar 5:25pm
Otis Fodder:

Sweet! Yea, anyone can promote anything they want here. The persuasive factors are very friendly.
Avatar 5:25pm
Otis Fodder:

Frankenspud, I'd try it. ONCE.
Avatar 5:25pm

They should have just made hardtack.
  5:27pm
Martinibomb:

@Viv here's my lo-fi version of Hank Williams - made this in about 5mins on SP-404Sx sampler. soundcloud.com...
Avatar 5:28pm
Archivist Vivian:

I'll take a listen, opened it up in a new tab.
  5:30pm
Martinibomb:

I want to do a country/gospel album for my next music project. Checking your new Dr. Airlines right now.
Avatar 5:30pm
Archivist Vivian:

I have an artist that would be good with the show. Otis, if you remember when I sent you that folder of songs by Damaskas, I have recordings from an artist named Susan "Sulu" Dubow who appeared on some of his songs. They're mostly felicitous comedic guitar tunes.
Avatar 5:31pm
Archivist Vivian:

I wanna move to Canada one day. I think it's the right place for me. I have a friend in Sault Ste Marie who makes really great lo-fi music and her and I want to live together.
Avatar 5:32pm
Otis Fodder:

Go visit her and if you both visit Montreal, you have a tour guide! Record shops and food!!
Avatar 5:33pm

Her name is Shae Tull, and she's been doing performances in various small clubs. shaetull.bandcamp.com...

My son's gotten the sampling things from records bug, but not sure weirdo records are his thing, but I have been giving him my duplicates.
