Look, down here!

The party's all the way at the bottom of the glass, er, page. Georgy can't make it live today so she's already posted the playlist. Don't look it, be surprised!

Tuned in and feeling very intuitive this afternoon. I can see Hawkwind and The Bee Gees in our future!

Mr Fab:

Can we post here?

AH, there we are. had to refresh page. I feel so refreshed.

"Hawkwind and the Bee Gees": Now THERE'S a collaboration that should have happened.

Yep, we're down in the basement of the Flange and Frigate. Secret spot. Kinda dark, but your eyes will adjust.

TURD RUNDGREN!! Hahaha
Avatar 1:44pm
Mr Fab:

Did she say: "Run-green"? That's even better.

Otis Fodder:

I love this Kevin Ayers song (and album). I turned up the volume and clicked over to chat so fast!

Hi, the Dutchlands here!
Avatar 1:58pm
Mr Fab:

hey Jan, you found us down here in the nether-lands of the station!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm
Dutchman Jan:

Spontaneous Combustion? Humbug!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:01pm
Dutchman Jan:

Hey Mr. Fab, yes I did! but it took me untill just now to realize the screen is not automatically refreshing
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm
Dutchman Jan:

ayway, just do it Georgy! Give us your best combustional mix!
Avatar 2:05pm
Mr Fab:

Yes, I like the idea of an all "hits" show. i haven't used the features of this board too often: you can click the star next to the song name on the playlist if it's one you particularly like, and it saves your history. Will have to do that more, and report to Georgy when she wants to do the special.

star-option doesn't seem to work here, maybe firefox is blocking it...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14pm
Dutchman Jan:

ah, in Chrome it's working!
Avatar 2:15pm
Otis Fodder:

Been meaning to start using the star feature for fav tracks, nice!
Avatar 2:16pm
Mr Fab:

I think you can star entire shows..? I've read listeners say that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm
Dutchman Jan:

I just did, yes. This is one I would like to re-listen!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25pm
Rich in Washington:

You can indeed star entire shows, as well as favorite entire programs/DJs.

Rich in Washington:

Kenzo was just saying he's toying with the idea of either putting an artist death date field on the playlists but possibly making it an automatic, data-driven option.

Rich in Washington:

I said there should be a white ankh symbol near a living artist's name, which turns into a black skull when they expire.
Avatar 2:34pm
Mr Fab:

Sorry to hear that about the Pink Floyd exhibit Georgy, but not really surprising. To the fast majority of the populace, Waters/Gilmour IS Pink Floyd. They'd be like: "Who's this weird 'Syd' guy?"

Nice plan for future shows, with GG taking the lead for pre-posting and chatting/refreshing. I will be doing the same end of the month.

Weird seeing what's coming up. First non-live list I've seen on the station.
Avatar 2:48pm
Mr Fab:

Mr 'bomb! Just in time for the light show and love-in.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48pm
Rich in Washington:

This was the first Syd era Floyd song I heard (up till then, it was my older brother's copy of DSotM and Animals) and I immediately became an earlier Floyd fan.
Avatar 2:49pm
Mr Fab:

And Spacebrother Greg has beamed down, too. Glad you guys could find us down here in the basement.

The improvised signs with arrows hastily scrawled on paper plates helped.
