@zpulpa Interesting. Its certainly a really interesting concept, but do you find it hard to approach it from a musical standpoint at all? Or is it all just about chaos and sound. I just want to know what other people's perspectives are

@Teddy
I play music in a 'free' improv way with groups and in a duet, and for me there is always so much i learn after every sessions... i think about music. I know what you mean, and I am sure that if I had a background in structured music it would be really different, and maybe seem messier, but I think that there are all kinds of phenomena that surface about tone, texture, rhythm, timbre, pace, mood, ...what are some other music words? again... curiosity... brain cleaner... meditation... ecstasy.

zpulpa:

the music can do things that the human impulses can create and the senses follow to comprehend, maybe never to catch up, but how wonderful is that delay!?

@zpulpa Do you reccomend anything i should read or listen to if I want to really embrace the avant garde jazz culture? Its an interesting topic that I havent explored past that one Peter Brotzman quartet record I listened to like a year ago on account of a dare.
Avatar 6:01pm
zpulpa:

@Hassan.the.eighth
The just out Milford Graves documentary is a very inspiring account of his ideas about improvisation that I really enjoyed. Full Mantis. may have to catch it on tour.

I have been digging this album on a totally different side of things; www.youtube.com...
