	10:41am randyfrommichigan: @chromaphone I agree re Dreamboat Annie, I never tire of it, was thrilled when they played the whole album live in order. One of my first concerts as a teenager was seeing Heart for their first tour, Toronto around 1976 or 77.
	10:43am chromaphone: @rfm - holy shit! I can't believe you saw them at their prime. Was it awesome? I love how they merged hard rock with synths in just the right spots. It's kind of too bad they got so damn cheesed out in the 80's.
	10:47am randyfrommichigan: @chromaphone yes it was awesome ... imagine being 17 years ago and seeing Nancy do the guitar intro to Crazy On You ... hearing Ann sing live, etc. I saw them live every time I could until the '80's, I couldn't stand that cheese either. And I've gone to see them many times recently too, they still sound great. Got to see them do Stairway to Heaven with Jason Bonham Experience a few years ago (they were the opener), that was another huge highlight!!

This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. And I've gone to see them many times recently too, they still sound great. Got to see them do Stairway to Heaven with Jason Bonham Experience a few years ago (they were the opener), that was another huge highlight!!
