	♥ 1:54pm DJ GeorgyGirl: That's wonderful :-) I love the Dutch artist/empty property system as well. A friend of mine used to live in Amsterdam (he's a sculptor) and he lived rent free for nearly three years all over the city.

	♥ 2:00pm Jan Turkenburg: Vreemde geluiden has survived as a podcast, now calles Frame Duggy Louder, as it is in English now. But Vreemde Geluiden will return on radio, as an item in a weekly live-show starting of each friday in a few weeks. We're slowly and carefully building up programs.

	♥ 2:18pm Rich in Washington: I've always wondered if the very early Residents were inspired by Meek. There are so many parallels with the sound of their sound and those of Meek's albums like the Blue Men record. The weird prepared piano, etc. I think a lot of it was expedience, working with what they had and a fairly primitive multitrack tape machine.

There are so many parallels with the sound of their sound and those of Meek's albums like the Blue Men record. The weird prepared piano, etc. I think a lot of it was expedience, working with what they had and a fairly primitive multitrack tape machine.
