Good morning folks. I'm too tired to type everything. Worst is over, but still weak from bronchitis or death, whatever it's name.
Avatar 1:59am
Diezel Tea:

Thanks, JJ. I'll give you the credit, rather than the diet of tethering between coffee and herbal tea.
Avatar 2:03am
Diezel Tea:

@coel what's up, homie? Are you truly a big prog head?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:05am
coelacanth∅:

DT - i feel for ya
i dealt with bronchitis for years
-from age around 6 to in my 20s. it veered into pneumonia more than once.
found great relief when i stopped seeing doctors and made my own herbal tea that kicked that fucker's ass.
now it's less frequent and duration is short -ginger-licorice tea with oregon grape root capsules help me get over it faster. ...and vitamin a,at least partially from fish liver oil; zinc; vitamin c...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:14am
coelacanth∅:

so (@2.03) -i never thought of myself as such!
though i did realize recently that the kids that were technical geeks in high school were into yes and king crimson and if they were truly mathematical and didn't need to feel but just think, then rush and Frank Zappa!
but my nephew who probably would've been one of those kids back then listens to shallow techno and dubstep and soundtrack music...
i feel sad about that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18am
coelacanth∅:

...how bout yourself, DT -big into prog?
Avatar 2:24am
Diezel Tea:

No, not in the common sense aka Dream Theater, etc. But Crimson, Magma, some of Zappa's stuff, Mahavishnu, that kinda stuff I dig. I was asking because my best friend plays in a rather recognized "prog" band back in the us, and they're based in NJ. They're a prog band that finally doesn't suck, except that I can't stand the vocals. He's got a great voice but it's so upper register, but that just me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:38am
coelacanth∅:

haha...is it Geddy Lee upper register or Jon Anderson upper register?! (or is it faux falsetto like so many laughable "metal" bands?)
inquiring minds want to know!
...never mind! what's the band name?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:39am
coelacanth∅:

...jeez Jesse this is beautiful!
Avatar 2:48am
Diezel Tea:

I dunno, the dude is a trained vocalist so it's well executed, but... I just can't... sounds like Coheed n Cambria, which they tour with frequently, but the thing is their music is astounding.called Thank You Scientist
