	♥ 1:36pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I was in a cafe in the 80s and the BBC had just broadcast part of the Goodbye concert. So two lads at the next table and one of them asks the other if he'd seen it ... and it they only showed half an hour, so lad number 2 says "Oh - only the one song then?" Fabulous. :-)

	♥ 1:43pm Rich in Washington: Indeed. I still like his work and even singing in Cream, but far from the best 60s guitarist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Cream a sort of response to The Jimi Hendrix Experience? I thought I remember reading that somewhere once.

	♥ 2:34pm Rich in Washington: My mom grew up in the era of musicals and groups who all dressed in matching outfits. I remember watching some music program as a family and my mom remarking (about some rock group) 'no one looks happy to be playing music anymore!'.
	♥ 2:36pm Rich in Washington: I also remember seeing The New York Dolls on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert and my dad and older brother just freaking out at how outrageous and 'horrible' they were. It kind of freaked me out, but in a good way.
