We have a yellow lab that was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer after surgery to remove a tumor. They told us he had months, but we could try chemo at about $1K a month. With three kids lined up to start college that wasn't going to happen so we patted him on the head and said "sorry boy". 7 years later he's still here. Covered with small tumors but not in pain, still chasing birds and other wildlife

We have a yellow lab that was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer after surgery to remove a tumor. They told us he had months, but we could try chemo at about $1K a month. With three kids lined up to start college that wasn't going to happen so we patted him on the head and said "sorry boy". 7 years later he's still here. Covered with small tumors but not in pain, still chasing birds and other wildlife
