Sure is John. But I possibly take a different approach to most- from crisis comes opportunity, so I’m not nearly on as much of a downer as most.

One of the things I like most about this show - other than the estimable Stan himself - is that you never know what’s it going to be like. Some days it’s long abstract instrumental ambient pieces, some days it’s rocking out, some days poppy. Stan always keeps you on your toes.

For anyone outside the UK or less than 35 years old, Wide Awake Club was a children's morning TV show hosted by Timmy Mallet. Interesting fact: Mike Myers started out on it. Mike Myers the comedian, not the sexually repressed, supernatural homicidal maniac.

Sem, yes, it’s one of those inflatable hats with the built in comedy arm and hammer. I’ve just put yours in the post to the Bay of Fundy.

Stan,
I have a vision of you preparing your playlist.
Like a shaman waking through the forest.
Sees what he needs for a potion.
This tree bark, those leaves, that lizards tail...
Brings it all back
Mess it around in a pan for a while
Then
Magic happens
