Considering any part of any composition can be incorporated into many other newer compositions, some and the performers choice, it's hard to keep track. Also, read Graham Locke's account of the classic quartet touring in the 80s, definitely mandatory.

Speaking of kumbaya, the song of that name was credited to a German-American composer for many years. Now they have found essentially the same song recorded in 1926 by Gullah speakers in Georgia, long before the song was "written" and copyrighted. Probably everyone knows this, but I just read it.
