HI, Cooh John. Uncovered a section of garlic planting yesterday, and as usual, green shoots as expected. Stawberry plants have over-wintered well, it seems. Too early for asparagus, but a bumper crop of snow drops and grape hyacinth:-D

if any of you crave a one-shot source for a radio "tuner", try out TuneIn, it's the best format. they ask you to go "premium" though it's not necessary; i use it for fmu in a pinch

@testingwithfire: been to Ecuador many times, Quito is great if you like city life, Cuenca is smaller, more like a college town but with a gringo ex-pat community so you won't feel like a pioneer

Oh yes, this is good. Google tells me Brighde Chaimbeul is from the isle of Skye
  7:22am

@John it is that... I've bought some great music there recently, Vula Viel, Jeremy Dutcher...
  7:24am
TheNewLexGofer:

@Kevin: A nip of Drambuie with Brighde. perhaps?
Avatar 7:26am

@Gofer Drambuie? Malt or nothing! Islay for preference, but I suppose I should try some Skye whiskies
Avatar 7:26am
TDK60:

Have you been to those isles, Islay, Skye, Kevin?
Avatar 7:28am
Kevin_Ringwood_ UK:

@TDK, no, I was born in the east of Scotland, in Rosyth in Fife and have lived in England since I was 5 years old, but one of my grandmothers was a McInnes, a family name that originates from Islay I believe. She was from Glasgow though
