	1:18am rw: Really?! I have a good story about seeing Whitehouse at the VFW hall in Kansas City. Must have been 1983 or 4.

	1:33am rw: tak, yeah, I'm trying to figure out if it would translate here... Basically they kept playing, sounding more or less like standing under a jet airplane and taunting the audience. At first the audience cheered at the breaks, then they started booing and throwing stuff at the band. More taunting, kind of mean taunting, the PA got turned off and they kept on playing through just the amps. Audience stopped cheering or booing and either just stood there or started leaving. PA got turned back on. Kept going. Most people had left and it was just going on and on. I wanted to leave too but was sure something was going to happen. Eventually a kid who worked at the record store walked up to the stage, pulled the stand out from under the synth and it dropped to the ground and shut off. Whitehouse packed up their shit and left.
