The disturbing thing about kid's music is that it's made by odd adults who want your kids to like them...is that what we're not talking about here!?

  10:02am
dan:

@Bic Lighter
Or they're made by people that want to entertain children.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02am
Amanda:

I feel like it's made by cool adults whose sensibilities appeal to a wide variety of people. The best kids' music is extremely suitable for adults too, and vice versa.
Avatar Double-Dip Recess Marathon 2024 Swag For Life Member 10:04am
Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them):

Bic Lighter: As an odd adult who entertains children, and would be delighted of they liked me, in my experience, the troubles have always ended up being with the adults trying to pass for "normal" a little too hard.
  10:05am
Bic Lighter :

I guess you could look at kid's music that way but it's much less disturbing!

Back when SNL was funny, before it became the mess it is today.

I liked the counting segment on the early Sesame Streets, where the chef with a tray of tarts, pies, cakes, etc. would come out to a fanfare and then trip and things would go flying.

I just asked my daughter and she doesn't want to bother seeing it in a theater. Oh well. In any case, nothing will compare to seeing it in a theater for the first time in 1979 and the moment Kermit appeared on a bike. The entire theater immediately lost it. (Apologies for the spoiler alert)
