Hey Jesse! Read your piece on Gem Spa. Enjoyed it!

Did you see that they are now in such a mess—can’t sell lottery tickets and cigarettes after getting busted selling to underaged teens—that they are offering a fedora and egg cream special for $20?

I miss old school NYC but this is past reality now.

Pig Lover:

eggs can be creamy, its true

i knew about the cigarettes. didn't know about the lottery tickets. i know zoltar is gone too, temporarily only. eek.
  9:16pm
JakeGould:

@jj: Well, “temporary” until they can be 24/7 again because they don’t own the Zoltar. Like all vending machines it’s just space it sits at and is owned by another vendor. Leave that there when the shop closes and it will get vandalized.

Bozz
Slang term for the commonly known word 'Boss', originating from the Finchley area of London. Can be used to represent people of quality and class in stature from appearance or actions.

Bozo
Bozo is a name that references someone who has failed to achieve any level of formal education and is easily lead and influenced by anyone who appears sympathetic. Bozo will, because of their lack of of understanding of the english language, try and engage in conversation, but in almost all cases, will become irritated and abusive due to not understanding what is being said to them. A Bozo will make up stories about their achievements, but everyone knows that they are just fabrications. A Bozo is not smart enough to know that their lies have been discovered and will continue on prosecuting the lie.

It can be really distressing to be in the Church of Scientology & see how it is ruining so many people's lives. Mr Hubbard said religion is an implant. Part of clearing the planet is clearing the planet of religions. The tech says the Church of Scientology is supposed to intimidate you.

Mansfield and Burnett were part of the Alpha Band, which (I think) formed during Rolling Thunder and then released several pretty interesting secular rock albums of their own before heading into explicitly Christian territory.
