	8:36pm tripod: Going to be weird to see (and not hear) fireworks from the small communities in southwest Idaho I overlook from my perch at 8000 feet. I’ll be thinking of my cat hiding under the bed back in Missoula.

	8:41pm BH: it seems like a relatively quiet year around here in regards to people detonating fireworks before the 4th.. so I suspect they'll make up for it in a few hours.

	♥ 8:45pm coelacanth∅: i've heard what i was told were m-80s before and these seem louder, but maybe it's just the reverberations where i am today make them louder when the sound reaches me
	♥ 8:46pm coelacanth∅: - or maybe they seem louder because there aren't a lot of explosions this year, here. those loud ones are practically the only ones, and they're spaced by over an hour each time.
