Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:39am Doug Schulkind:

It's sort of cheating playing "All the Things You Are." It is one of the most recorded jazz standards in history. I selected it (a) Because it's a Jerome Kern/Oscar Hammerstein collaboration, and (b) It's so wonderful to hear Anthony Braxton tackle such a traditional evergreen number. Oh and (c) Just listen.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41am Doug Schulkind:

Of course the "Anthony Braxton playing jazz standards" trope is pretty old hat, but I have never had a problem with old hats.
