I had a pretty funny run-in with a plunderphonics type artist who took exception with bits of his obscure early 70s album ending up on one of my radio shows as part of a mix. It ended up with him asking if I thought anyone would buy his LP if he had it reissued. Up till then, he was trying to fight off bootleggers by selling it himself on homemade CDRs.
