That's been around for a long time. I can remember reading an article on non-lethal crowd control devices in, Spy, maybe, back in the early nineties or something. Asphyxiation seems like a potential problem.

The reality is any weapon of any kind used against any living thing can result in worse consequences than intended. More AI? Nope. Tasers are garbage.
