Im actually at a gig now... well Im in the audience so I guess it's a show for me... well actually Im out back in the smoking area right now but anyway. there are some bands... they brought their instruments... and people clapped! so... everything he was saying about gigs is accurate as far as I can tell... that's what happens. sometimes there's a random guy sitting in the corner of the smoking area listening to wfmu... without headphones.

Buddy of mine used to make pretty much on a weekly basis a Caesar salad with homemade croutons featuring fresh rosemary and tons of garlic, a fresh egg from his backyard, and a couple dollops of Phillipe's mustard. It was obscenely good, hot, creamy, and crisp.

Blue plate special for me was a catered party at the school where I work. It was pretty yummy: good hummus, dolmas, chicken breasts sauteed with olives, peppers, onions, etc., and assorted other goodies. It's all I've eaten today, but I will survive.
