Speaking of albums, and the decline of record changers, there's a fascinating bit of history from the founder of one of the early hi-fi chain stores, Tech-Hifi in Boston. He says the market for home audio was transformed by Vietnam vets returning home in the second half of the 60's with Japanese electronics.
