@romandogbro I don’t do superbro movies as a rule because who can keep up, and how many ways can you save a world? I read comics growing up and got tired of them crippling and curing, and killing and resurrecting to the point it was all empty. But I will see that at some point. Seems as though it has something to say.

Dang ignat. I’ve had a couple people end up ‘“not having money” but I’m just like, ok get the fuck out so I can go go try to compensate for my time you wasted. Or it’s a friend expecting not to pay at bar rush. Once I had a dead call at the Grand Canyon. Last call of the night. I don’t know why I didn’t ask dispatch for a card number... always a beautiful drive though...and avoided ever hitting elk going 80+. Or any speed for that matter

No office and we dispatch from the cars. So at night I know better. When a long call comes in to pick up out of town if I don’t get paid up front I turn the call down.

There are times when I wish I could get a cab to take me home (late show when I have to get to work early). Last time I tried the driver actually told me to call Uber instead. Not worth their time going to a suburb and getting back empty in a tourist city
