@jt it would be hard to guess. In the early 80s NOLA Jazz fest programmed Cecil Taylor and Roosevelt Sykes consecutively, Taylor going on after Sykes. It was very interesting watching them circle one another back stage. It was so amazing I cannot clearly recall it, my mind was blown. Wish there was video for our review.

Would have loved to see Sykes. Made a point of seeing Muddy Waters, Albert King, Johnny Copeland. Saw Gatemouth Brown too.
