	7:59pm Scraps: I finally got into musicals through Sondheim. I sniffed at musicals for a long time, like my generation did (and does), and Sondheim blew my perception-doors down, so that I was able to appreciate other good musicals.
	8:03pm Doug Schulkind: Sondheim makes me think Company, which makes me think D.A Pennebaker’s “making of the cast album” documentary, which makes me think D.A. Pennebaker, which makes me think about death. So, by transitive property, Sondheim makes me think about death.
