French mystic...romain rolland presented an epic 10 volume set titled Jean Christophe...A Journeys End...from 1913...about a musicians struggled in all facets of life...modeled on Beethovens life...and very influenced by Tolstoys War and Peace...a line from this cycle volume...says...the eyes of chaos shining through the veil of order...I teach at Berkeley...literature...I'm taking a guess at Phil's influence and name of show...thanks ...
