Good morning, Stan & listeners. Cloudy and -5 in Southern Finland & fine ethereal music to start the day.
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:06am Ignatatus666:

Hello Stan and Derbyshire
Is there a station promotion of this album for a reason?
  Fri. 11/22/19 4:27am Vincent Nifigance:

@Iggy It’s just a massively anticipated record by a groundbreaking artist Universally appreciated by FMU DJs.
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:35am David (in London):

Morning all Stanners. Hey Vince.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:41am VincentNifigance:

Good morning David!
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:43am Ignatatus666:

New Jersey isn’t exactly Universal. I was curious as it’s a musical oddity. I dig it in my own way. A couple others on the last thread didn’t really dig it or the frequency of play.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:44am Stanley:

Gurd moaning everyone
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:48am David (in London):

Hey Stan. Greetings to you. I'm still on a complete high after seeing the one and only Mr Iggy Pop last night. He was absolutely out-flippin'-standing.
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:52am Ignatatus666:

This is super cool
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 4:59am Ignatatus666:

Truly glad I did not turn that tape off
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:11am Stanley:

Wow, David, that's great. I didn't even know he was still gigging. Where was it?
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:19am David (in London):

He was playing his new album (which is superb) as a one-off show at the Barbican as part of the London Jazz Festival. He had a young band, tight as a duck's arse, and looked like he was loving every second of it. The audience were absolutely nuts for him. He did the new stuff, highlights of his solo career (including some pretty obscure ones, like Zombie Birdhouse (!) and one off Raw Power (Death Trip). I confess I felt rather emotional afterwards.
Avatar Fri. 11/22/19 5:19am Chris in Kuala Lumpur:

Iggy Pop? Holy shit man. That's great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:39am Stanley:

(Returns with coffee)
That sounds amazing and so does at at 72.
I can imagine the crowd reaction. If he played at the Barrowlands up here in Glasgow the place would go into orbit!
You were one lucky guy to go to that gig.
  Fri. 11/22/19 5:43am ben abs:

Morning all, overslept!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 11/22/19 5:48am ben abs:

@Iggy @Vince - what record do you refer to?
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:49am Ignatatus666:

Dalia Derbyshire
Avatar 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:53am David (in London):

@Stanley - Yeah, it was one of those nail-biting hanging on the phoneline moments waiting to see if you'd got there in time before it sold out. Lady Luck smiled on me thankfully.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Fri. 11/22/19 5:55am ben abs:

Ah, in which case, pretty understandable, prime fmu material
Avatar Swag For Life Member 🎃 Fri. 11/22/19 5:59am Stanley:

See y'all around.
  Fri. 11/22/19 6:00am Earth Walker:

I got the munchies
