Tonight: Joe Hollier, co-founder of The Light Phone - a simplified smartphone NOT designed by Big Tech. (The team is based in Brooklyn.) The Light Phone has texting and phone calls, and not much else.
• The Light Phone, co-founded by Joe Hollier and Kaiwei Tang, originally funded via a 2015 Kickstarter and a 2017 Indiegogo campaign.
