Mooning over the past is such a subjective and profoundly personal thing. Cold weather, darkness and cookies might have something to do with it as well.
	1:15am BH: although in my part of the country, December hasn't been consistently cold (which could be another topic).. so it's more of a "sinus oddities because of temperature swings" time of the year around here
	1:17am JakeGould: The oughts (2000 to 2009) was utterly miserable for me. The 2010 had it’s ups and downs, but felt better for me. I look forward to 2020.

	1:22am BH: The global economy didn't melt during this decade (knock on wood), so the 10s has that going for it (and a bunch of the 2008 crash happened in-between the time I decided to graduate from college and when I graduated in December)

	1:32am BH: that probably sounds slightly more bleak than it was.. that winter was probably more polarizing between the things to be concerned/pessimistic about and the things to be optimistic about.
	1:33am JakeGould: @BH: Winter makes things seem worse. Especially this cusp of the post-solstice season. I’ve even taken to making small mental lists when I’m down to prop myself up again it can get so bleak.

Radio stations that call themselves "The New (insert name here)" for (seemingly) years are also something i've encountered a few times on TuneIn. "It's the new 102.5" (which has the same format as the old 102.5)
