From a dude brought up in bklyn

Not especially! Well, 60 cent coffee (and it’s GOOD coffee!) in a park before hitting the library, that’s ordinary life / magic to me. Five dollars I heard in New Jersey, is that right?
  4:31am
pascal:

As a Brit I can’t identify Stan’s accent... is it Nuuu Ywork?

David! How the devil are ya'?

pascal:

Great song atm, would love to know who it is as I have no idea.

For coffee geeks, the Portuguese drink a heavier mix of robusta than normal. This is because during the dictatorship (1926-74) beans from old partners Brazil were favoured, and there they grow more robusta over arabica.

Gratuitous coffee info section over!
  5:05am
Listener Bop Monroe:

whoa falling out here despite the uptick in tempo.
gnite/gmorning all! have great friday all.
thnx again Mr. Stan. Later!

David, all good here cheers. I have a day to myself (hopefully) - getting some creative time - with gallons of coffee + WFMU!
How goes yer' music?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12am
Stanley:

Hi David, Nulsh.
Slaving over tax returns, up here in Leith.
Always the same in January.
Avatar 5:18am
Nulsh:

Mornin' Stanley! You'll be a busy boy before the deadline!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:19am
David (in London):

@Nulsh - I'm on the clock, but doing exactly the sae, shirking from home with coffee and Woof Moo. What more could a sentient being possibly need..? Music is going AOK, working on three tracks for a single this year. And bugger it, it'll be on vinyl! Carol Crow played us the other day again which was very nice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20am
David (in London):

@Stanley - Oh blimey. January always brings a raft of the dullest tasks, doesn't it? Suddenly I have to complete Companies House returns and buy residents parking permits. Sigh. I feel your pain sir, hang in there.
Avatar 5:22am
Nulsh:

Great news David! Am I right in saying Stan has played your music too?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25am
Stanley:

Just four more to do then my own.
Hope to get all done by Thursday, so I can go on the Independence demo in Glasgow on Friday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25am
David (in London):

@Nulsh, he did. That was the first time I'd heard it on Woof Moo. Had a decent amount of play since, too.

@greatbarrington - From Rochester Kent to Rochester NY.

Even the music and the bands I know well sound unfamiliar and fresh when organized and curated by Stan. <3
  5:53am
greatbarrington:

And thanks to the internet, every Rochester in the universe!
  5:55am
Attis:

What was the track that started off the set?? oy I missed
  5:55am
Attis:

start of show rather
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:56am
David (in London):

I've probably said it often enough before, but it stands repetition - Stan's Show is one of the best on Woof Moo, and certainly the most unpredictable. Sometimes it's dream pop, other times hard rock, others noise, others floaty ambient. You never know what it's going to be, and that means it's really exciting every time.
  5:58am
greatbarrington:

Thank you Stan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58am
Baja Joe:

Great show as usual Stan. Thanks for the wake up tunes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59am
David (in London):

Could this song be any better a transition to The Pidge?
  5:59am
Matias:

Thank you Stan. @David: 100% True. Quality selections every time.
  6:00am
pascal:

Spot on David. Discovered so much unusual and wonderful music here, he goes to so many different places (often great tunes for meditation also)! Bom fim‑de‑semana a todos — have a good weekend all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:00am
Stanley:

I echo what David (in London) said.
Thanks Stan
