Favoriting Cannibal Stew: Playlist from January 27, 2020 Favoriting

ARB swings to the other Belgian Popcorn. Very passionate vocalists, naive orchestrations, irreverent pranks.

Psychologically preparing myself for your show by smearing cream cheese on a heated roll.

Franco i wish. i'm helping to prepare a house for sale and was informed last night that the painting will go to some "painters" so to leave me free to do other things. a fear much of this "other things" will be researching values and posting things on ebay; which i'm not bad at, but i don't want to sit at a computer all day.
...i think i'd rather be doing what you're doing.

A wonderful Wag Anu to all of you! Tuned in and turned out.

well good luck then
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm
Rich in Washington:

I was just talking about mole from our favorite taco joint with my coworker while out on my stroll! That and the perfect Cuban sandwich.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:28pm
Franco Twinkie:

Tomorrow I'll be able to put my detective hat back on, but today...oy!
Avatar 1:32pm
ARB:

Speaking of Cuban sandwiches, I've still never been to the Cafe Havana which is right down the street from me here, maybe I should head over after this. I hear the Cuban revolution was plotted there.

coelacanth∅:

i might have to do some research today then, in your stead. (i'm not working 'till later)
...do you remember what dish i was supposed to ask about at my local better mexican place? something that's served around the holidays...5 letters, 2 syllables, not necessarily meat-based...
(it's not a game i really want to ask about it and i've forgotten!)

Curious if that tune with Sun Ra Arkestra was released by Sun Ra or on a "commercial" label?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40pm
WR:

In your mic break after Gypsy Love you sound very relaxed. Possibly an affect of being in Mexico. Great selections in this show, interestingly diverse and great flow and several totally not PC and I think we are OK with that, even minestrone mambo mambo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00pm
WR:

Random closing thought, several songs on your show today seem to me perfect for James Booker to cover. James once asked me for feedback/ suggestions for songs and I had nothing to tell him. Unfortunately he passed 37 years ago so will only hear him performing them in my dreams. Oh yes, thanks so much for the show.
