I wasn't paying attention so didn't hear it somehow but the servers and kitchen staff noticed and went running out the front door, I thought maybe the kitchen was on fire! but with the door open I heard and figured it out.

	♥ 4:08pm Spinning Giant: @kpx anytime - I like to cut them about 1/4" thick or a little less - 1/8" if you're feeling pro - also, my favorite way to eat them (original recipe as far as I know - noone taught it to me and never had it at anyone else's place)... slice and salt the same way - and whip up a basting marinade using olive oil, white wine (vinegar if no wine on hand - red is okay too but a total different taste), fresh-squeezed lime juice, your fave mustard, and this is the fucking key - black cumin seeds - lots of em - trust me - you will have thought you died and went to heaven - I've seen people gobble up a whole eggplant themselves when I make this - and these are people who claim "I don't like eggplant" - because they never had it cooked properly! ;) Baste them just before you throw them on the Q, and other side when you flip it - keep a close eye - they're gonna wanna burn up with all that oil - worth the work, though, trust me!

I reckon this is common knowledge, but John Lennon famously said Tutti Frutti was one of his all time favorites and would champion Little Richard even in caustic interviews. As a kid in the 80s, Little Richard was like a rocknroll mister rogers... he was a neighbor somehow. Without a doubt, that is someone who made the world a better place with just with a voice, a piano, and a smile. One of the first in the Rocknroll hall of fame, Cleveland location, and in the Heaven location now too.

	♥ 4:08pm Spinning Giant: @kpx anytime - I like to cut them about 1/4" thick or a little less - 1/8" if you're feeling pro - also, my favorite way to eat them (original recipe as far as I know - noone taught it to me and never had it at anyone else's place)... slice and salt the same way - and whip up a basting marinade using olive oil, white wine (vinegar if no wine on hand - red is okay too but a total different taste), fresh-squeezed lime juice, your fave mustard, and this is the fucking key - black cumin seeds - lots of em - trust me - you will have thought you died and went to heaven - I've seen people gobble up a whole eggplant themselves when I make this - and these are people who claim "I don't like eggplant" - because they never had it cooked properly! ;) Baste them just before you throw them on the Q, and other side when you flip it - keep a close eye - they're gonna wanna burn up with all that oil - worth the work, though, trust me!

I reckon this is common knowledge, but John Lennon famously said Tutti Frutti was one of his all time favorites and would champion Little Richard even in caustic interviews. As a kid in the 80s, Little Richard was like a rocknroll mister rogers... he was a neighbor somehow. Without a doubt, that is someone who made the world a better place with just with a voice, a piano, and a smile. One of the first in the Rocknroll hall of fame, Cleveland location, and in the Heaven location now too.
