I get the joke here, and I don't like it. Maybe there are a thousand people mindlessly trying to get statues down 'to look "woke"', but for a notable number of Americans living with the Confederate statues would be like—and you've read this before, but it's still true—any Jew living with statues glorifying Nazis around.
Andy's obnoxious act[?] wore thin with me a long time ago. Given that there are people seriously speaking as if we were stopping the honouring of evil men were as bigoted and silly as just taking down statues of men because they were white, I just can't take it tonight.
