On the Fourth Of July 1976 we drove to San Francisco because rumor on the street was that The Dead were going to play in Golden Gate Park. When we got there a bunch of dazed looking hippies were walking around in the fog. No show.There was no texting back then, just pay phones. We went to the aquarium then went home.
