My Elektra Complex and this week special guests playing LIVE in the studio: ÄSS and The MOMETERS!
listen to (most of) this show or just listen to the Mometers set!
(For some reason the archive conked out after the first two hours, but the Mometers' set was recorded separately.)

What's with Terre? The Cherry Blossom Clinic with hostess Terre T is currently heard on FRIDAYS from 3 to 6pm (EST) on WFMU, 91.1 fm (NYC/East Central NJ) and on WXHD, 90.1 fm (Hudson Valley, lower Catskills, Western NJ) and worldwide on the internet.
Note: The music bed between sets is the william orbit remix of pierre henry's "psyche rock" taken from the 1997 album metamorphose -- messe pour le temps present featuring the music of pierre henry and michel colombier (FFRR/polygram 4562942).

The last column may have tons or NO info depending on how reliable my notes are. (I write up the set list as I play it)

Then we had a live set from THE MOMETERS as engineered by Jesse Cannon. These guys are a loopy, lovable full rock band with strange synthesizer sounds and a solid sense of songwriting. Sorta like a more serious Bonzo Dog Band or ENO if he had a sense of humor. Pronounced "mom eaters" and featuring WFMU's own Scott Williams. Meet the Mometers CD currently available at Other Music, W.4th St NYC, and at their website. New 4-song EP is on the way.
