$mall ¢hange: Back in March and April I was getting the best sleep of my life, still staying up late but sleeping a full 8-9 hours at a stretch.

Hype: First time here? Welcome to our wretched hive of scum and villainy! There's something on FMU to suit any style of depravity, and there's a 24/7 archive going back to 1998.

I saw U-Roy in Jamaica in 2012, along with John Holt and Derrick Harriott, with Shabba Ranks headlining.
  12:40am
$mall ¢hange:

jelly on that concert! sounds amazing. I did see John Holt with Alton Ellis and Ken Booth in Brooklyn when I first moved to NYC, around 93 or 94

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:53am

ngh: I lucked out with that one for sure. But yeah, it's incredible in Jamaica how seemingly every little bodega even out in the country has its own soundsystem.

$mall ¢hange: Ah, now with Ken Boothe and Alton Ellis, the jealousy is reciprocated.

Hype: Bullseye!

Heya Mr. Pumpy, was worried you wouldn't show!

Souleimani was assassinated in Iraq. There was plausible deniability of an attempted coup in Venezuela, unlike former Latin American interactions. (maybe the CIA has learned from former mistakes)

The thing w/ Yeltsin, he was so inept and drunk (and possibly complicit), it allowed the russian oligarchs/mobsters to take power.

ngh: Some of the footage of Yeltsin drunk at state or diplomatic functions is unbelievable. I've wondered before if maybe (depending on how involved Russia actually was, if at all, in 2016) Trump was Putin's revenge for the humiliation of having Yeltsin foisted on them by the US.
  2:31am
$mall ¢hange:

there's 3 parts of this on Yeltsin and the whole coup. its really good. very informative
