Richard Bennett!! What a lovely guy and an incredible player!! Know him through Mark Knopfler and Rudy Pensa, from when I worked building Mark's Pensa Custom instruments at Rudy's Music. First time I introduced myself to Richard backstage at one of Mark's performances, and he told me his last name, my jaw dropped.. I knew his name for playing on and producing Steve Earle's Guitar Town album! Think he worked with Steve up through the Copperhead Road album.. We talked about that straightaway, and have been friends ever since! Small world! He would be great on your show Gina!!

Thanks for the shout out Paul! I'll pass it on to Rudy, and my brothers Mak and Joe who are still building Pensa Custom Guitars. Rudy's Soho shop on Broome Street shop is open, 48th Street is closed, though it was the last shop standing on "the street", which is a lost world from it's former glory.
