I find Facebook very helpful in tracking down a lot of the more osbcure 60s girl singers. It was a great research tool for interviews, but I'm finding other ways :)

I actually like FB now more than 10 years ago. It's much easier now to hide things you don't like/want. You can even be "friends" with people and hide their stuff from your newsfeed. I follow plenty of bands and record labels and find that very useful.

Totally agree Sheila. Just in the past couple of years I've noticed that. Things start to slow down, you don't sweat the small stuff as much, and you start seeing the big picture of it all. Still would be nice to have a special someone, but I know the universe is working it's magic behind the scenes. Taking heart!
