Gangs of people used to work on her over there, with buzzing machinery, and taunting humiliation, hour after hour after hour. I used to wail on the wall, and play Larks Tongues in Aspic at high volume to make them stop, to no avail. One of them turned out to be a young woman who worked the phones at reception in the animation studio where I worked. She laughed easily , and said, "Yes. Now you know. I am an angel of pain." Then I found an emaciated cat in the generator shed. I named her Ingot and she lived in my RV with me for several months until I couldn't stand the litterbox and left her with a friend. Cat-free for 5 years now.

Gangs of people used to work on her over there, with buzzing machinery, and taunting humiliation, hour after hour after hour. I used to wail on the wall, and play Larks Tongues in Aspic at high volume to make them stop, to no avail. One of them turned out to be a young woman who worked the phones at reception in the animation studio where I worked. She laughed easily , and said, "Yes. Now you know. I am an angel of pain." I moved out.

Then I found an emaciated cat in the generator shed. I named her Ingot and she lived in my RV with me for several months until I couldn't stand the litterbox and left her with a friend.
