You mean your Mom is in the sack?
Avatar 5:28pm

Hello Roberto and Pierre. Courtney says that's quite a bevy of lulus.

Is anybody listening to Fablio right now? His reign of criminality continued unabated. He is the worst lead-in for Courtney, chasing away all listeners with good musical taste.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm

I leave the volume set at zero until 6pm. Otherwise the headaches would spoil my enjoyment of Courtney's program.

Is it rude to arrive to the poutin' shanty (or is it a no-nonsense shack now?) early?
Avatar 5:56pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

Early arrivals are welcome and treated with customary hospitality.
Avatar 5:57pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

Fablio is playing a recording by a man who can't sing. He sounds like he's in pain. I know I am.

I like the way you're stepping up the information on the playlist, Lolabelle.
Avatar 6:01pm

Courtney really chose "Gettin' Dirty Just Shakin' That Thing" over "Head Rag Hop"? This is not board of standards and practices approved material. He must be stopped!
Avatar 6:02pm
Lolabelle Pancake:

We have to provide all this extraneous information for two weeks because of the SoundExchange Mafia.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm

Courtney will play everything that's good. We just need to be patient. He has more 78s than you've had hot dinners.

@G@6:07, jeez, give us some time. We formed a bounty-hunting party for Irwin but some wiseacre directed us to an organic grass-fed pickle-flavored frozen-yogurt shop and now we're stuck there. You can't get liberal bounty hunters away from organic pickle fro-yo for *anything*. Well-played, friends of Irwin.

@Lolabelle: Check with Ub Iwerks' living relatives etc., duh. -- For years I told people there were missing James Joyce mss. from the 1910s-30s out there somewhere, because there were notebooks that covered part of a Ulysses episode but not the rest of it. So things that existed were clearly missing. People said I was crazy. But then dozens of items turned up in the closet of a relative of a Paris acquaintance of Joyce's, in whose closet they'd been sitting for decades after he "temporarily" left Paris in 1939, never to return. National Library of Ireland bought them for millions of euros, back around 2000. -- People often do not know what lost gem is taking up space in their garage.

A little bit of "Mysterious Mose" at the end.

Doesn't James Joyce read as if it had already been put together from shuffled notebook pages found wrapping fish?

Rudy tried putting the moves on Sophie Tucker in her dressing room while Courtney was out getting her a snack of brisket and knishes. When he came back, he slugged Rudy and knocked out four teeth. At least that's what Courtney told me. There are no photos. Sophie wouldn't talk.
