But then dozens of items turned up in the closet of a relative of a Paris acquaintance of Joyce's, in whose closet they'd been sitting for decades after he "temporarily" left Paris in 1939, never to return. National Library of Ireland bought them for millions of euros, back around 2000. -- People often do not know what lost gem is taking up space in their garage.
