coela: LCD was how I first heard of FMU, back in 1995 when I lived in SF. One of my housemates got it, so when I moved to NYC in '98, tuning in was one of the things I was looking forward to the most.

@mariano: funny, the same night we stopped at another former nyc friend, chris sattinger, who played d&b and dubby step (in the ragga sense). Then we randomly met some Kurdish fellows after the shows, and drank and smoked w/ them at some random bar (the next day I wasn't feeling so well)

I was thinking they were like big-eyed lemurs. So I looked it up, and aha! From the African Wildlife Foundation: "The lesser galago, also called the lesser bush baby, is one of the smallest primates, about the size of a squirrel."

Part of the reason I hate this tourist hell trap, I was on my walk, and I saw a drunk frat bro drop his hat. I thought he was trying to hail a cab, but he was flicking the drivers off. I told him he lost his hat, and said, "f*ck you*, took a swing at me, but I dodged it. The a cop car came by, and he ran for it losing his flip-flops. (I prefer Brooklyn muggers, I can negotiate and talk to them).
