	4:38pm Fox: I think my only real experience with / appreciation for Patti Smith was obsessing over the season finale of Millenium, and there was this psychotic psychedelic montage of a psychic going crazy to a Patti Smith song (i think?), and it was incredible. That whole episode was killer.

To me only the main guy, Steven Strait, is a mildly disappointing actor who might've been hired for his looks, but it's such an ensemble that this isn't that much of an issue. I enjoyed B5 back in the day despite some awkward dialogue and clumsy acting. I'd be more curious about the remastered B5 coming to HBO if they'd done more work on it, but apparently they cheaped out a bit....
	4:41pm Fox: Millenium was the show Chris Carter tried to make while the popularity of X-Files was at it's peak. It starred Lance Hendrickson. It was about the end of hte world I think? I didn't even watch the show regularly. But the season finale was all about a bird flu that became a human plague. It has one of the GREATEST dark comedy scenes I've ever seen.

	♥ 4:46pm Iºkºe: Millennium was mostly about boring serial killers, like so much other 90s stuff. And occasionally the world ended, and then they'd walk it back in some absurd way. Chris Carter wasted the talents of great people like Lance Hendrickson and Gillian Anderson with his nonsensical gibberish story arcs on his shows, but OTOH he launched the careers of people like Vince Gilligan who went on to make Breaking Bad, so....
	4:53pm Fox: Ike: X-files was best at the monster of the week episodes. The grand story arcs are utter crap and make no sense. After watching the new seasons, it occurred to me that the writers were dicking each over at teh ened of each season; that every season finale was a kind of writer's challenge to the next guy/team: "see how you get out of this mess!" I've been meaning to rewatch the show with that perspective in mind, and see if I appreciate it more. An ongoing writing challenge. I loooooove every episode Chris Carter directed, though.

The cats have been to a neurologist, and he says she needs an MRI and spinal tap. So.... I guess that's what I've got to do. Trying to scrounge up the money. My other cat has been exhibiting neurological problems as well, I now realize.
	5:38pm Fox: I posted on the JC reddit, to see if anyone had a safe place I could isolate with my cats til I get vaccinated and can move out of here. Now people are just givingme shit for being abusive to my pets for keeping them in a moldy apartment, and telling me I should send them to a shelter. So.... feeling pretty shitty about my life at the moment. Like I don't already feel like a horrible pet parent for this shit.

Craigslist is okay, but would never tell someone to look there for housing/boarding. Just don't think it's safe. Can your vet temporarily board them for at least a few days? Some will if you ask.
	5:46pm Fox: Hyperdose: A few days won't really do anything. And to be fair, I still don't even know if mold is the cause. I'd assume it is, since they are BOTH having symptoms, but the vets don't seem to feel it fits? I'm still going to ask if they can be put on an anti-fungal. It can't hurt.
	5:49pm Fox: So.... Since there's still no answers, I gotta do the MRI and spinal tap. I was gonna just go for the spinal tap, but then I found out that without the MRI a spinal tap can be dangerous? So... fuck it. I guess I need to do the whole shebang.

To me only the main guy, Steven Strait, is a mildly disappointing actor who might've been hired for his looks, but it's such an ensemble that this isn't that much of an issue. I enjoyed B5 back in the day despite some awkward dialogue and clumsy acting. I'd be more curious about the remastered B5 coming to HBO if they'd done more work on it, but apparently they cheaped out a bit....
	4:41pm Fox: Millenium was the show Chris Carter tried to make while the popularity of X-Files was at it's peak. It starred Lance Hendrickson. It was about the end of hte world I think? I didn't even watch the show regularly. But the season finale was all about a bird flu that became a human plague. It has one of the GREATEST dark comedy scenes I've ever seen.

	♥ 4:46pm Iºkºe: Millennium was mostly about boring serial killers, like so much other 90s stuff. And occasionally the world ended, and then they'd walk it back in some absurd way. Chris Carter wasted the talents of great people like Lance Hendrickson and Gillian Anderson with his nonsensical gibberish story arcs on his shows, but OTOH he launched the careers of people like Vince Gilligan who went on to make Breaking Bad, so....
	4:53pm Fox: Ike: X-files was best at the monster of the week episodes. The grand story arcs are utter crap and make no sense. After watching the new seasons, it occurred to me that the writers were dicking each over at teh ened of each season; that every season finale was a kind of writer's challenge to the next guy/team: "see how you get out of this mess!" I've been meaning to rewatch the show with that perspective in mind, and see if I appreciate it more. An ongoing writing challenge. I loooooove every episode Chris Carter directed, though.

	5:38pm Fox: I posted on the JC reddit, to see if anyone had a safe place I could isolate with my cats til I get vaccinated and can move out of here. Now people are just givingme shit for being abusive to my pets for keeping them in a moldy apartment, and telling me I should send them to a shelter. Craigslist is okay, but would never tell someone to look there for housing/boarding. Just don't think it's safe. Can your vet temporarily board them for at least a few days? Some will if you ask.
	5:46pm Fox: Hyperdose: A few days won't really do anything. And to be fair, I still don't even know if mold is the cause. I'd assume it is, since they are BOTH having symptoms, but the vets don't seem to feel it fits? I'm still going to ask if they can be put on an anti-fungal. It can't hurt.
	5:49pm Fox: So.... Since there's still no answers, I gotta do the MRI and spinal tap. I was gonna just go for the spinal tap, but then I found out that without the MRI a spinal tap can be dangerous? So... fuck it. I guess I need to do the whole shebang.
