Pretty sure it was this model, definitely this color, but was showing its age more.
And its one of those interesting period things...driving a '98 in 2021 ain't the same as driving a '54 in '77.

even a market for retro remakes of vintage synths. a few years ago i bought a newly released retro version of a Korg DS-10+ for around $300 I think. Then when searching for online tutorials found that there was also a Nintindo DS version which I got for around $40. pretty much same sound and features from each.

I borrowed a tape of this from the library when I was a kid... original German print, I think. They split the song 20 minutes in and continued it on the other side... And Tubeway Army too? Now you're talikin' :)

I saw an interview with David Bowie where he said all those early synthesizers came with instruction booklets on how to make them sound like particular instruments by using different settings--horns, guitar, etc. He said he and Eno ignored the instructions and had fun just seeing what weird sounds they could make.

Noted the other day that Eno and Bowie didn't even meet until 1976, just before collaborating. That seemed strange to me; would've guessed several years earlier just by mutual awareness of musical directions and performance/presentation affinities, and just cuz they were prominent in the biz.
