@Androu: The acc is reputed to be the best sound quality - but uses 128K like the mp3 (reputed to be next best sound). 'Lossless' refers to the sound - not the bandwidth to get it to us... That would be the 128K part...

Thanks for that bit of useful information. I'm not what younger users would call a "n00b" to digital tech. In fact, I once had a job assembling computers, which lasted over 4 years before the company moved it's assembly ops to their world headquarters in Taiwan.

The original The Andromeda Strain laserdisc has a great extra track just for the OST. Audio quality is wonderful. I'm sure it's been played here on Devon's show. Super cool OST.

i remember hearing/reading about it when i was a teenager, FINALLY got to see it at Monty Hall some years ago -- i was delayed in getting there and it was crowded like crazy, but SO WORTH IT!
